Big Yellowfins!
The boys got on a stud 120lb yellowfin 11:30am bite, GPS Position N37°05.198’ W074°32.265’ just south of the Washington, hit a pink and purple spreader bar from 353 custom tackle. We saw birds working and took a pass through them and hooked up almost immediately. They Also caught one other nice yellowfin in the 30-40lb range. As of Friday the fish were still in and around the Washington Canyon, however now we have our eye on an eddy that has formed just up east of the Baltimore and Poorman’s, the blue water has also pushed into that same area, which should make for some good fishing! Unfortunately we have a poor weather window ahead for the next 3-4 days as of now its looking like Thursday might be the next good weather day, so we will be keeping an eye on things until then!
